LORENZO BRAMATI
— BIO
Lorenzo Bramati (b. 1979, Italy) is an artist and designer whose practice fuses fine art with product design. A graduate of NABA Milan in Graphic Design & Art Direction with further studies at IED Milan, he has spent more than twenty years experimenting with the combination of materials, philosophies, styles and techniques — producing unique material canvases, paintings, sculptures, lamps and furniture pieces.
His work has been honoured internationally: winner of the Vittorio Sgarbi Prize 2021 for best abstract painting with 'Il Campo di Grano', recipient of the Leone d'Oro for Visual Arts in Venice (2021), and finalist of the Rossana Orlandi RO Guiltlessplastic Prize (2022). He has exhibited at Carrousel du Louvre Paris, MEAM Barcelona, Sleek Art Gallery London, Scuola Grande di San Teodoro Venice and MA-EC Gallery inside Palazzo Durini Milan. His pieces have been published in AD, INTERNI, LIVING, ELLE DECOR and DOMUS, and he features in the Mondadori 'Artisti' international yearbook and in 'I Narratori del Nostro Tempo' curated by Vittorio Sgarbi.
